Community development is a process where community members come together to take collective action and generate solutions to common problems
Together we are strong | Community Development:- Niasa Tours (T) Ltd contributes to community development through providing employment to local people who works as tour guides, accommodation service provision (home stays & camping) and through direct sales of goods and services to tourists.
Niasa Tours (T) Ltd has opened the door and opportunity for local people to sell goods and services directly to tourists. On the other hand, communities benefit indirectly through tax or levy on tourism income or profits with proceeds.
Community development by selling local goods:- Development projects such as education, environmental conservation and orphanage centers have been supported by Niasa Tours (T) Ltd fees which make a small portion of the package price. Other tourists have been providing voluntary donations to support local development projects especially Maasai girls students.
