Tour Details

A compact gem with surprising diversity—forests, lakes, hot springs, and wildlife. It’s famous for tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, and thousands of flamingos. A perfect mix of scenery and animals for a half or full-day visit.
Morning:
- After an early breakfast, your safari guide picks you up at your lodge or hotel in Arusha.
- Drive 2–2.5 hours to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but incredibly diverse park nestled between the Great Rift Valley and the alkaline lake.
Late Morning to Afternoon:
- Begin your family-friendly game drive through the park.
- Keep your eyes open for elephants, giraffes, monkeys, and baboons.
- The lake is often covered in pink from flocks of flamingos.
- You may even spot the rare tree-climbing lions, napping in the branches.
